87);"><strong>Received Pronunciation</strong></span> （又称女王音；RP音），就是由词典作者 <strong>Daniel Jones </strong>在这本词典中首次提出的！</p><p><br></p><p>而大家熟知的<span style="color: rgb(249, 110, 87);"><strong>D.J.音标</strong></span>，同样由Daniel Jones在《English Pronouncing Dictionary》中创出，后被广泛用于标示标准英式英语发音。</p><p><br></p><p><strong>D.J. 音标即命名自 Daniel Jones 的姓名首字母 DJ。</strong></p><p><br></p><p>在用的 D.J.音标又分为新旧两版，皆与《English Pronouncing Dictionary》有关。</p><p></p><p><br></p><p>旧版D.J.音标于编写《<strong>English Pronouncing Dictionary 第 12 版</strong>》时使用，因为词典于 1963 年出版，故被称为<span style="color: rgb(249, 110, 87);"><strong> IPA63</strong></span>。</p><p><br></p><p>Daniel Jones 于 1967 年去世后，他的学生 Gimson 又对《English Pronouncing Dictionary》进行修订，并于 1988 年出版了《<strong>English Pronouncing Dictionary 第 14
